Hello, my friend, what would you like to talk about today?
Hello, Katherine, and everyone, today I would like to speak about the foods that you all eat during your day to day life.
You may notice that there are times where you feel as if you are craving a certain food or a type of food, like something sweet or salty. We want you to know that you can follow these cravings and enjoy the food that you would like to eat. They are at times messages from your own body instructing you to eat a certain food whether it is out of nutrient requirements or just simply to show you to celebrate the things you have done in your life, whether big or small, and enjoy a treat for yourself. If you worry about over eating a kind of food that is considered unhealthy for you we ask that you try talking to your own physical body and ask it to give you a sign when you should stop eating that food. With some trust and practice you will begin to notice the subtle messages your body gives you throughout your day.
I have a question for you actually. A couple of times now when I have gone grocery shopping I have tried connecting to the food I’m about to buy when I’m picking it out, such as with lettuce or tomatoes and I have received messages back from the produce. Can we do this with all the foods we buy?
That is a wonderful question, thank you. You will find it easier to communicate with the foods you are deciding to buy when they are fresh. So products such as produce and fresh grains would be easier to find a connection with. Now, this does not mean that you cannot connect with processed foods, you may just find it a bit more difficult. Our suggestion for connecting with more processed foods would be to work on connecting with your own physical body and listening to what it would like to you eat more of.
Could you explain to everyone how they can go about communicating with foods and their body?
Of course, it would be my pleasure.
To connect with foods, such as lettuce, apples, pears, etc., all you need to do is make a mental connection with the piece of the plant. You may just begin speaking to the plant in your mind, such as Katherine does, and then see what messages come to you. If you find this is difficult to do, that you feel as if you are making it up in your head – if they are positive messages of love then we would like to gently remind you that you are not making it up – or you feel as if you just can’t connect that way then that is okay. You can try imagining a beam of light connecting you with the plant and establishing the connection that way. You can also ask your guides to help you find what method works best for you. Don’t forget that we are always here to assist you and guide you, no matter what.
Now, to connect with your physical body we ask that you first take some deep breaths to center yourself and then ask your body what it would like to eat. We ask that you go with the first thing that comes to mind. Try writing it down so that you will remember. You may also try asking your body why it would like some foods over others, as this will allow you to establish a better understanding of why you crave certain foods.

Of course, you are very welcome. We would like to suggest too that you all try and have fun, whether it is while you are out shopping, making your list, or while you are cooking the food. Enjoy yourself. You will feel much happier when you enjoy the experience itself. We understand that grocery shopping is not enjoyable for everyone, that it is seen as a chore. But we want you to begin to look at it in a new perspective.
If you have other family members you have to shop for we have this advice as well for you. If you have children with you while you are shopping, you may try asking them what they would like to eat, and ask them to say the first thing that comes to mind. Of course, they may suggest something that is considered unhealthy, but remember that they are exploring and learning what they like to eat. If you would like to balance an unhealthy food with something healthier ask them to choose one vegetable or fruit they would enjoy eating.
But what do you do when your other family members or friends are not present? You may always ask to tune into their energy and ask to be directed or shown the food that they would most enjoy eating. You can do this with children and adults, and animals as well.
If you would like, you can always work on writing your list of groceries beforehand and just make a general list of what foods each person would like, based on what their physical bodies are asking for. Then once you are out shopping you can narrow your purchases by working on communicating with foods, such as fruits, vegetables and grains to figure out which would be the best to bring home with you.
We ask that you just enjoy yourself and have fun with this. It is a way to further work on your connection and relationship with your own physical body and also with the foods that you are eating.
We would like to mention as well that this is a wonderful way to practice being the change you would like to see in your own life.
