Today I’d like to talk about several things with all of you! First, I’m going to tell you all a bit about my road trip across Canada! The next part is about what I’ve been practicing lately to help reduce my daily stress and maintain a positive outlook. Lastly I will be delivering messages from Kaine for all of you! ❤

Part 1: Road Trip
So, as you all can imagine, trekking it across the country has ups and downs. Thankfully though, I can say we had more ups than downs. We were able to see so many different kinds of scenery along our way, it was breathtaking! A lot of people warned my boyfriend and I that the prairies would be incredibly boring, and dull. However, we found it was the complete opposite! We even drove through a thunder storm! (Which I can’t say I enjoyed too much haha) But I’d like to briefly mention some of my favourite things about some of the places we drove through and stayed at!
Atlantic Canada: It’ll always be my home, no matter where I live. The rocks, the coastline, those insane winters we have, it’s all homey in it’s own way. Nothing beats spending a day roaming around Peggy’s Cove or Rainbow Haven Beach! I know I’ll always come back – I’ll have to visit my family and friends at some point ❤
Ontario: Beautiful, especially when you leave urban Ontario and start exploring Northern Ontario. That was probably one of my top favourite parts, driving through Northern Ontario. It was stunning to get to see nature almost untouched. The trees felt older there, and man was it fun to get to see weeping willows just growing along the road sides!
The Prairies: It wasn’t at all as boring as we were lead to believe haha. I think what I loved the most was being able to clearly see all of the clouds! Some of the cloud formations in the sky were just amazing. This is also where we ended up driving through a thunder storm!
Alberta: When those mountains finally come into view you almost can’t believe it. They’re just there, framing the horizon, for all to see. This is also where we met up with our friend, Joe, and camped out at Banff for several days.
Banff: What a national park! There was a point where we were walking around with the pets, and it just started raining. We stayed under some trees, as we were right beside the water, and just watched the rain fall all around us. To add to it all, the whole place is surrounded by snow peaked mountains!
Kootenay: We were initially going to go to Jasper instead of Kootenay actually. But Jasper was already full by the time we went to book the camp grounds. I’m honestly not sure which place I preferred more, Kootenay or Banff. Banff seems to have more to offer, if you need supplies or want to hang out at night, but if you’re camping you really can’t go wrong with either spot! I know the pets certainly enjoyed it!
BC: Take the beauty of the east coast and just amplify the area, add more trees, turn the hills into mountains and increase the temperature and you have BC! haha Well there is much much more to it than that, but it’s gorgeous! Everywhere you drive, whether it’s to Whistler (which is stunning!), Vancouver, or Victoria, you’ll be blown away by the nature that surrounds you. BC is a place I’m happy to call home, for now ❤
So that’s brief idea of my experience as we drove across the country in our van! It was a wonderful experience, and I’m grateful for it. I would do it again for sure!
Part 2: Dealing with Stress and Being Positive
Now, I’d like to discuss what I’ve been practicing, spiritually, for a little while! 🙂
Moving to a new place is always a bit stressful, and this is my first time really living away from home. So I’ve been a tad up and down stress wise recently, especially when it comes to finding a new job and settling in. When my life does begin to get busy I can forget to eat, which really effects my moods and how I function throughout my day. (I will be writing a future blog post about how eating, or lack of eating, effects us energetically!)
Let me explain what happens to me when I become stressed, forget to eat, or become bogged down with a million things to do. I become so focused on the negative, I allow myself to say non-supportive, rude things to myself, beating myself up whenever I feel like I “messed up.” And it could be as simple as fumbling over my words when I’m trying to speak too quickly. A lot of this is because I worry too much about other people around me, trying to please them before myself. When you’re in these negative moods though, you can’t pull yourself out of it – at least it sure feels that way. It feels like even though you know something could fix your problem, it could be as simple as eating a piece of toast, is just beyond you. You don’t feel as if you’re capable of doing anything. No energy, no will, no feeling of worthiness.
So what am I doing now that has helped me to be more positive throughout my day and let go of unnecessary stress? Talking to my guides each day, before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning. If there is something going on that I am having trouble with, I ask my guides to help me work through it, and to help me see it in a new perspective. I have also been asking my guides, the universe, etc., to simply help me to see the positive and love in all that surrounds me and my life. The other thing I have been asking my guides for assistance with is to help integrate and work with energy while I’m asleep in my dreams.
The difference so far? I’ve noticed that I’m getting back to my normal happy and positive self! I find that when stressful situations come up, especially during job searching, that now there’s always someone or something around that helps me maintain a positive outlook on the situation. I’ve also been noticing that I can begin to see the bigger picture easier as well.
For example: I sent out resumes and cover letters to several places, and I was hoping to have heard back by now for an interview, but I haven’t. I was feeling a bit bummed about that yesterday, until my boyfriend and I realized that neither of us have proper clothes for an interview. In a sense, I’m grateful that I haven’t been called yet for an interview. Imagine how stressed I would have been with not just the idea of having an interview, something I haven’t had to do in years, but also to realize immediately afterwards that I wasn’t prepared! For those of you who don’t know, I am fairly short, so I can’t simply go out and buy a pair of clothes for an interview. Pants must be hemmed for me! So now that I have some clothing (still have to hem those pants!) I’m almost ready for those interviews!
But, when I think about it, it doesn’t feel like I am doing anything significant, nor difficult. All I’m doing is having conversations with my guides, and asking the universe to help me out in the best way it can. The conversations themselves are not long ones, nor are they complex. But rather short, simple, and usually what I need to hear to help give me a push in the right direction. I don’t feel the need to have to ‘schedule’ it in since it’s such an easy and comforting way to begin my day and end my night.
One of the main reasons this makes me so happy is because I can finally say that I’ve taken another step towards practicing what I preach. It’s honestly one of the reasons why I had stepped back a bit from the blog. I felt I needed to really begin following what I say and to experience it for myself firstly, before further writing about it. So I’m grateful that I can write about this experience for all of you today. ❤
I would like to say one thing further about trying to keep a positive outlook and deal with stress: I know it feels difficult at times to pull yourself out of that hole when you have an off day. But you can do it! And you always have support and love, whether you feel you’re worth it or not, because you are worth it!
Part 3: Messages from Kaine!
Before I wrap this all up, and I have thoroughly enjoyed writing this!, I would like to deliver some messages from Kaine for all of you! ❤
We would like to expand further upon this idea of worthiness, as it is a simple idea, but appears so complex to you at times. Worthiness is about how you feel about yourself, correct? Traditionally it is seen as this:
I can have this, because I am worth that.
You look at it almost like an equation. Where you must have things, skills, experience, etc., that adds up to equate to your worth. Your worth is then compared to what you want and desire, and then it is determined as to whether it is ‘less than’ your worth, ‘grater than’, or ‘equal’ to it. If the thing you want is ‘less than’ your worth, then you see it as you are worthy of obtaining it. If it is seen as equal then you are seen as worthy of it as well. Whereas if the thing you deserve is considered to be grater than your worth then you believe that you are worthless. You then devalue yourself and tell yourself that you are not worthy, you are worth less than what is being presented to you.
We would like to tell you that this idea of equating things to your own personal worthiness can be let go of and thrown right out the window! You exist, therefore you are worthy. Your worthiness is not attached to the things you own, to your skill set, nor to your experience. It is attached to who you are as a being! You are worthy because you are alive, here, living yet another beautiful and wonderful life on this gorgeous planet that has so much love to offer!
We would like to thank all of you, each and every one of you, for being the beautiful, wonderful, people that you are. ❤
I know it’s difficult to see your own worth when you’re feeling stuck or afraid, but you can always work past it and see the beauty that is all around you. I’ve really enjoyed writing this post for all of you, thank you for taking time out of your day to read it. ❤
Thank you all,
